Preserving Photographic Materials By Krista Jorgensen

On January 6th Krista Jorgensen was our featured speaker at the Durham Branch of O.G.S. She presented a very interesting and thorough survey of photography which included handling, archiving, and restoration suggestions for both negatives and photographs; from Daguerreotype photos on glass to paper photos to colour slides. Her presentation was very well received by her audience. The audience had the opportunity to ask Krista questions about some of their preservation challenges which she addressed.
