Learn how to turn your scattered, disorganized files into a system that works for you. A few well thought out steps can help you control your clutter, keep consistent records, avoid duplication of effort and be able to communicate what you’ve accomplished in your research.

Lynn Palermo began her family history journey ten years ago, spurred on by the passing of her in-laws. She picked up the torch as the family genealogist. Lynn is now a freelance writer, genealogy educator, writing coach and family historian.

Organizing Your DNA Matches

The May meeting for the Durham Region Branch's DNA Special Interest Group will take place on Wed. May 18th at 7:30 p.m. at the Durham Branch Office, 1000 Stevenson Rd. N., Oshawa (in the NavCanada building)

We will be discussing how to organize our DNA matches and how to contact them.

Two sets of handouts, and a project template, will be available to attendees in electronic formats.

Join us for "Taming Your Inner Packrat" by Lisa Alzo and moderated by Thomas MacEntee.
