Speakers:
Stephen C. Young was born and raised in London, Ontario, and earned his Bachelor’s degree at BYU and a Master’s degree at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He has worked for the Family History Department since 1988, and supervised the British 1881 Census Project in England. His genealogical research accreditation in English Canadian research has been active with ICAPGen since 1989, and he specializes in English, United Empire Loyalist and Ontario research and history. He has presented at genealogical conferences internationally and published many articles, the most recent being in the February 2009 issue of Families, the Ontario Genealogical Society quarterly. He now serves at the Project Manager, FamilySearch.
Rex Peterson has worked for the Family History Department for 20 years. He has been a Spanish Cataloguer, Cataloguing Supervisor, International Reference Supervisor, User Systems Specialist, User Guidance specialist, and is now Collection Management Specialist over Canada and several other countries. He is also an accredited genealogist in Netherlands research.
